Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) are two distinct but complementary processes that mutually reinforce each other. In general, M&E is designed to monitor the impact of a policy, or progress of programme activities, against the overall goals, objectives and targets. (UNESCO, 2016). The purpose of the training program is to apprise the participants about the essentials of M & E and help participants develop essential tools to ensure that program activities are held as per design. The workshop will also assist participants to provide on-site academic and professional support to teachers in schools and help them assess teaching and learning through well designed processes.
